Factory: Explore the unimaginable

Factory is a BAFTA award-winning multi-genre animation studio based in Altrincham, renowned for its work on Clangers (CBeebies), Strange Hill High (CBBC), Newzoids (ITV), Scream Street (CBBC) and four specials for Disney’s Club Penguin.

Having developed a reputation as a global leading light in the design and development of immersive entertainment, we share each move that Factory makes with animation, television, design, kids, local and national press, targeting and gaining key coverage with outlets such as SkwiglyProlific North, Televisual, Animation Magazine, Animation World Network and Huddled.

In 2015, to reflect the stature of the company, we devised a national business campaign that led to high profile press such as the ‘Small Business Person of the Week’ feature in The Independent, a full page in The Times business pages for an animator profile, a double page spread in Manchester Evening News’ Greater Manchester Business Week on the growth and success of the company, plus lead comments from MD Phil Chalk in Televisual’s three-page feature on the UK animation industry.

During the launch of Clangers, Newzoids and Scream Street in 2015, we produced press materials that ensured Factory was featured appropriately in consumer coverage across the board. Highlights include a double page spread production feature in Girl Talk Art and mentions in Kidscreen, Broadcast Magazine and more.

We have built the social media channels from the ground up, increasing Factory’s followers and engagement across Facebook and Twitter and in turn helping them shout about the great work that they are doing.

The multi-genre animation studio has also doubled its occupancy within the business park its calls home, and this physical expansion has been reflected by a complete rebrand devised by our partner design studio, Instruct.

Designed to reflect the company’s evolution and success, the bold rebrand included a new website and was rolled out across all of its platforms to show that Factory is an ambitious, forward-thinking, creative hub.
